Wednesday's Playoff Results

EAST:
*Philadelphia Flyers 4, Pittsburgh Pengwhines 3 in OT (Flyers lead the series 1 - 0)
Flyers goals: Briere (2), Schenn, and Voracek
Pen(i)s goals: Cindy, Kennedy, and DuPiss

WEST:
HOLY SHIT, DID THE REFFING SUCK ASS IN THIS GAME OR WHAT?!  FUCK YOU, ZEBRAS!!!
*Detroit Red Wings 2,  Nashville Predaturds 3 (Turds lead the series 1 - 0)
Wings goals: Zetterberg and Holmstrom
Turds goals: Gaustad and Bourque (2)

*Los Angeles Kings 4, Vancouver CaNuckleheads 2 (Kings lead the series 1 - 0)
Kings goals: Richards, Mitchell, Penner, and Brown
Nucks goals: McBitey and Edler

*The Wings lose Helm, again.  He had to have surgery last night after his arm got cut by a skate blade in the first period.
We've lost him for the series, but hopefully, he will have an easy and quick recovery.

*Jimmah played pretty damn well.  Two of the Turds goals were deflections (one off Stuey's foot!).

*Fuck you, Shea Weber.  Fuck you with rusty razor wire.  I hope you get Shanabanned for the rest of the series for your
bullshit antics at the end of the game.  Asshole.

*I really fail to understand how the two least-penalized teams in the league can possibly draw 17 penalties in the first game of the series. SEVEN-FUCKING-TEEN!!  Two were matching minors and another two (to the Turds) were at 19:37 and 20:00 of the third period.  Oh wait...that's right.  Midget Commish was in the house!!  Fuck you, Gary.

*Both of Detroit's goals were on the Power Play.  Gotta keep that clicking.

*The Turds ended the Regular Season with the league's best Power Play percentage.  The Wings kept them from utilizing
that all night.  That's another plus for our shortbus special teams.

*Goose sat last night.  Now that Helm is out again (*weeps*), he'll get back in on Friday.  Hopefully on the 3rd line.  Kid
has great skills and a lot of heart.  Give him the minutes, Babs!!!

*I like Emmerton (2:52 TOI - not his fault), but I think we need to get The Rifleman in there.

*I would have suggested sitting Buckets, but he played pretty well last night (15:49 TOI, 4:10 on the PK), gimpy knees
and all.  Keep him in for now.

*Friday will be Nick Lidstrom's 260th career Playoff game.

*I miss Eaves-baby.

*If Weber doesn't get Shanabanned, I sure hope he gets KRONWALLED!!!!  By Hudler, 'cuz that would be hilarious.
