Driving the Miata on the way here, I came across a gentleman also driving a Miata.  Car discussion ensues at each red light and we pace each other for about 10 miles before Mr. Merlot Mica (his paint color) had to split.  The car looked good and the dude was kinda cute.

*grin*  This kind of shit happens every once in a while and never fails to make my day!

Holy Hell, am I tired.  With last week being the STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS and then the convention, I probably got about 15 hours of sleep...all week.  My flight was delayed so I got back a little later than expected last night.  Now I'm at work, trying to not give myself a concussion from my head hitting the desk.

Also?  WTF is up with the weather?  When I left on Friday, it was hot and humid.  When I got back last night, it was hot and humid and we apparently had some storms roll through.  I feel like I'm still Dallas...except that there's no Steve here.

Bummer, that.  *contemplates Vegas*

 Very often while watching television and movies, I find myself caring less about a character's fate and more about the well-being of his or her animals.  My thought is usually one of "Okay, kill that guy, but leave the dog alone!"

I am a huge dork.  Need proof?

Today I went to CVS.  I needed a few things, including shower gel (I bought 6 different scents).  I also thought I'd look for the TV Guide with those yummy pics of Jared, but that issue isn't actually on the newsstand yet.

As is typical of me, there were some  non-essential things purchased as well as the shower gel (6 scents!) and Q-tips.  

And by non-essential I mean Cheesetastic!

I collect lava lamps.  I find them relaxing.  I usually turn them on when I get home from work on Fridays and leave them on all weekend.  However, when I looked at them this evening (after they had been warming up for a bit),  I noticed something strange.  Please excuse the quality of the pictures.  I took 2 with a Polaroid camera and the other 3 with my phone.  

What?!  Of course I had to take more than one picture!!!
