I really just wanted to use this AWESOME Bobby!Icon that psychoactivtoad made for me.  It just so happens that my Red Wings are playing right now, heeeee!

Plus, I was screwing around at Picnik during the intermission and came up with this Emo!Dean icon.  Not bad for a first attempt, eh?!

                                                               


I would've tinted his eyes more green, like the lovely pics I've seen by moondropz & willow_m_w, but I was using the "try it out" version and couldn't figure out how to just tint specific parts instead of the whole picture, d'oh!  I'll play with Picnik some more this weekend.

I was screwing around reading some gossip news on MSN & came across this story about how large-breed shelter dogs who have black coats are harder to adopt. 

(1)  Did you know that today is National Pie Day?  Dean must be thrilled.  Be sure to check out the APC's "Great American Pie Festival" page...I spy something in that picture that our boys must hunt down & destroy!

(2)  I had an absolutely fantabulous time at Fangoria.  psychoactivtoad was an awesome hostess & we had lots of fun, especially squeeing over Jared.  Could the man BE more gorgeous?!  I will hopefully have a more detailed Fango post up sometime this week.

(3)  I was able to finally watch the 2 hour Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles premier yesterday.  I thought it was really quite good.  The cast is excellent.  Bonus points for having Supernatural's David Nutter as the executive producer & he directed T:tSCC's Pilot.  Side note: Charles Beeson, also of Supernatural, is directing T:tSCC's upcoming The Demon Hand episode (2/11/08). 

(4)  Yes, it's true...everything connects back to Supernatural.  T:tSCC had a  Lawrence shout-out.  It was only one line, but I squee'd.

(5)  During my personal mini-hellatus, my Red Wings beat both the Canucks & the Sharks.  W00T!  We play the Kings tonight.

(6)  I really could've used another day off.

I've been meaning to post a blog about Christmas music, but haven't been able to quite think it through yet.  Therefore, I'm offering up these thoughts & occurrences from over the weekend, which you may or may not enjoy reading.  *shrugs*  Consider it a brain-dump.
