Monday's Playoff Results

WEST:
Detroit Red Wings 5, Dallas Stars 2 (Wings lead the series 3 - 0) *Sorry [info]psychoactivtoad!!!!

Wings' goals: Zetterberg, Hudler, and Datsyuk (3 = HAT TRICK!!!)

Stars' goals: Grossman and Richards

1.  Tonight marked Datsyuk's first career hat trick.

2.  Ozzie's win tonight is Detroit's ninth straight win, our most ever in a single postseason and the longest streak in the NHL since Montreal won 11 in a row in 1993.   GO OZZIE!

3.  Mule (Franzen) stayed behind in Detroit to have some more tests done on his melon.  Hopefully, he will be able to join the boys for Game 4.

4.  The Stars didn't make this an easy win by any definition of the word.  They played their collective asses off tonight and kept the Wings to only 21 shots on goal (Dallas had 18).

5.  Stars' captain Brenden Morrow took a bad bounce off the boards after a missed check, torquing his arm the wrong way.  The replay made my shoulder hurt.  At least I think it was Morrow.  It was nasty, no matter who it was.
